Dorchester tells Shell to stay out of the Arctic

To our amazement we discovered there were 28 of us - everyone who e-mailed actually came!
Age range 14-75.
And then the Bournemouth polar bear came visiting!
And then a reporter came to photograph the dancing bear.

We were running out of placards, tabards, leaflets and jobs - but we created quite a presence on both sides of the road. Our poster to 'Honk for the Arctic' got a great response.

The phone call from Canonbury Villas telling us protests were taking place at 50+ garages in the UK and in countries from Chile to Switzerland was a real morale boost.

We are very much hoping some of the new faces we saw today will become active with us and that this is only the first stage of Dorchester's response to Shell's actions
