Was terrific to see so many people invloved in environmental issues at the Green Scythe Fair.So many aspects to the green world, recycling/reusing old stuff, local crafts, eco-energy, doing real things with green energy e.g using peole power via a bike to make drinks; and of course us with the Green Peace stall raising awareness of the need to protect the Artcic and bearing witness in the heart of rural Somerset.We had a wondeful response from so many people who share the concern that big business will rape and pillage the Arctic for short term profit.On the topic of global warming, anyone who has worn the Polar Bear on a hot day knows for sure that too much heat is just awful - we nearly melted!Pity that so many of us travelled to the fair by car, we need more sustainable alternatives for green events.
