Save the Arctic from Shell

Shell garage Dorchester

A team of West Dorset Greenpeace volunteers visited 4 Shell garages yesterday (Dorchester, Bere Regis, A303 Yeovil and Ilminster).

Our task was to let the manager, staff and customers know about the lengths that Shell are prepared to go to in extracting marginal oil from the most vulnerable environment.
We want people to put pressure on Shell to change its plans before a catastrophic oil spill, with no realistic chance of control or clear-up, occurs in one of the last wildernesses on the planet.
Tell Shell to abandon their Arctic oil plans.

Rather than exposing the economy to volatile energy prices through our addiction to risky oil, let's go for fuel-efficient cars and a serious investment in clean energy!
