On Saturday we descended on Worthing town centre to get some cards signed for the Volkswagen campaign. The key messages were:
- VW to stop lobbying the powers that be against introducing tougher rules on carbon emissions from cars
- VW to push for more fuel efficient cars in their own range
It was a bitterly cold day, which added to the challenge of getting people to stop! We still managed to get several people to sign cards between the 5 of us. In total we got about 30 cards signed and approximately 100 handed out.
Big shout out to Rod for buying a round of coffees, good chap.
After two hours we were thoroughly cold and went in search of warmth, pleased that we’d made such an impression in a short space of time.
