Greenpeace volunteers around the country are working to help raise funds for a new Greepeace 'Pod', a temporary abode for campaigners needing extra protection when they are working in harsh or dangerous conditions, you can see an example below:
To do justice to the cause you might think we would chose an equally courageous activity to raise funds, maybe absail the Minster or have an ultimate rowing race down the Ouse, and we'd love to!!......... but we thought we'd start small (and dream on big!). So as a warm up activity, we have a cake stall planned between 11am and 3pm, Parliament Street, on Saturday the 6th April.
Its not all sweetness and light though, over the next 2 weeks we're going to be racking our brains and running trails to ensure we have the most delicious and vast selection of cakes you can imagine, come and see for yourselves!
