These are the details of the York Greenpeace group's forthcoming events:
Save the Arctic: Have you seen the new Greenpeace video about how Shell want to exploit the Russian Arctic region - and the inevitability of a major oil spill?
Here it is >>> http://youtu.be/aQPPke3okuI
You can become an Arctic Defender and help Save the Arctic region from Shell and it's Russian friends. Find out how, at one of our campaign stalls we'll be holding in York:
July 21st and August 11th.
Why not call over and say hello, pledge your support to save the Arctic and meet the team!
(Location and meet up time to be confirmed - we'll be somewhere central and we usually meet up about 11.00am - but we'll confirm details soon).
EDIT: We’ll be meeting at 11am by the fountain in Parliament Street and hosting the stall close-by. Why not come along and get involved or come say hello and pledge to be an Arctic Defender.
Next group meeting:
Wednesday August 7th. Ye Olde Starre Inne, Stonegate. 7.30pm - expect to end approx 9.00pm
If you've not been before, or you have, but not for a while, you'll be warmly welcomed - why not come find out what we do and how?
