Greenpeace Yorkshire East is being revived! Meeting Wed 23rd Jan 2013

Posted by metalhippyrich - 14 January 2013 at 6:55pm - Comments

Hi all

My name is Richard.  I've been active with Greenpeace for quite a few years, but I'm fairly new to Hull, and I'm the new Network Co-ordinator for the group.
Many thanks to David, the previous co-ordinator, who was unable to continue and stood down last year.

So, I suggest we meet up to review Greenpeace successes of 2012, get updated on the current campaigns and plan what action we can take in around Hull- it'd be great to reform as a strong & active group in 2013.

I'm suggesting a meeting on Wed 23rd Jan at 7:30pm in The Admiral of the Humber pub on Anlaby Road, just around the corner from the interchange.

I know it's not the ideal venue, and I'm hoping people who know Hull better than me can discuss that at the meeting, but it is: central, to make it as easy as possible for people to get there, especially from outside the city centre; accessible; not too expensive; and it serves ale.

Hope to see you there

Richard
