Galtres Festival.
Where? The vale of York- it takes its name from the Royal Forest of Galtres. Members of the local East Yorkshires group and the York group were there adding to the mix of real ales & ciders, local food, and eclectic music.
"Jamie is ace (and so are polar bears)" was just one of the many messages written on white ribbon which will form the fur of a gigantic polar bear. A double-decker bus sized steampunk puppet polar bear that will be paraded through the streets of London on 15th Sept as part of a global day of action to save the arctic.
