Do you feel better-off thanks to fracking?

Would you like this next to your home?

Would you like this at the bottom of your garden or your street, next to your son or daughters school, in your park, next to the local hospital or university? I wouldn’t, but this is the reality of fracking and David Cameron, George Osborne and Owen Paterson are just a few of the politicians telling you that you're also going to benefit from fracking. The silence from the Conservative / Coalition Government on hydraulic fracturing is deafening but this silence hides the fact that they don’t want you to know that they will be drilling under your homes without your knowledge. House prices are plummeting and will continue to do so as this programme of hydrocarbon fracturing is rolled out across the UK. Balcombe is just the beginning. The Government keeps telling you gas bills may fall and communities will benefit from inducements to accept fracking in their villages and towns. No amount of inducement can reverse water table contamination from potential waste products like radioactive Radium 226. This is thought to be a leading cause of breast cancer. See what the Guardians recent poll of US readers revealed when they asked “Have you benefitted by the advertised $1200 per family, per year from fracking? The vote came back with 21% voting Yes, and a whopping 79% voting No. I’d say that was a resounding indictment. See the original article here:

Fracking is easier in the USA as the shale gas reserves lie closer to the surface than in the UK, so it's highly likely that the only people benefiting from this will be the oil and gas industry and their shareholders involved in the retrieval itself including Lord Howell, George Osborne’s father in law.
