He wants UK consumers to be bound to gas for decades to come and with it high gas prices that force people into even deeper fuel poverty, now George Osborne's plans have been thrown into serious doubt due to the wholesale price manipulation by the big six energy companies. The cynical fixing of gas prices, mirrors that of Barclays fixing of Libor that sent shockwaves around the world when it was reported earlier this year.

Renewable energy is the only true way forward now, gas companies have shown that their profits are all that they are concerned with. Renewable energy is safe and free, all that is required is to capture it. There is no wonder there is now a dash for gas if the energy companies can so easily fix their prices to make as much profit as they can.
Let us say NO to a dash for gas and say NO to the fat cat energy bosses fixing the market and giving the UK and the planet as a whole, a double whammy, of price hikes and higher carbon emmisions that will contribute to global climate change.
