Picture this, 20th January Hebden Bridge Picture House and 4 Yorkshire GP members turning up in extremely cold and ominously snow filled skies to man a stall at the Chasing Ice screening. Very well arranged by Jeff Rice the Huddersfield network coordinator and well received by the hardy inhabitants of Hebden Bridge who turned out in force to almost fill the venue. An amazing film and visual record catalogues the alarming effects of climate change on various glaciers, and climaxes in the biggest calving of an iceberg that has been catalogued since records began. Truly amazing and one to watch at the next showing on the 3rd February in York. See you there!
