Climate change - are we still in denial?

A new Mori opinion poll has found that the public suspects that the negative effects of global warming predicted by scientists are being exaggerated. Fifty six per cent of respondents also said they think that the scientific community is split down the middle over whether or not climate change is real. So as a nation we're still officially 'sceptical' about climate change. Or are we? Greenpeace director John Sauven has his doubts.

Over 70,000 people count at Glastonbury 2007

Supporting I Count at Glastonbury 2007

A huge number of festival goers signalled their commitment to action on climate change at this year's Glastonbury. Besides listening to their favourite bands and battling with the traditional wet and muddy weather, over 70,000 new supporters signed up to the UK's I Count campaign to stop climate chaos.

Making noise about the climate change bill
