I am 24 years old and have lived in Nottingham most of my life. I gained a degree in Biodiversity Conservation and Management from University of Kent in 2010. I work in the Domains industry, but maintain my interest in all things ecological through casual reading and through my involvement with Greenpeace.
I have been with Greenpeace for roughly two-and-a-half years and have really enjoyed having the opportunity to get involved with game-changing campaigns against big corporations and governments. There is still a lot of work to be done, but there have also been a lot of big successes that I am very proud of.
I first got involved with Greenpeace because I am a dreamer with big ideas about the way the world should be. I hate injustice and inequality in all its forms. I have campaigned for many different forms of equality in my life and campaigning for an equal opportunity at life for all species is a logical part of this. As I have grown up and taken on the responsibilities that life brings with it though, my priorities have changed and it has not always been easy to keep my campaign work a priority. It is important to remember though that no matter what is going on in my own life, I would always regret not doing my bit towards making the world the way I would like it to be.
