I am 28 years old and originally from London. I work as a fundraising co-ordinator for the Greenpeace but have quite a varied background having worked for the NHS, and in events, marketing and languages. I am studying for a Masters and enjoy yoga, travelling and cinema in my spare time.
I first became aware of Greenpeace as a child when a relative made a donation to them on my behalf as a Christmas present. There was a picture of a whale on the postcard I received to mark the donation and I thought my present was a whale! I was quite disappointed when I realised it wasn’t!
A few years later, having recovered from this initial disappointment, I worked for Greenpeace Canada as a fundraiser and became inspired by seeing the effectiveness of a small group individuals working together to protect the world and its inhabitants.
Now, as a key activist in the UK, I love getting involved in events and direct actions. In 2012 I attended 3 festivals with Greenpeace and loved campaigning on the Save the Arctic campaign. I am most passionate about climate change and working to halt the devastating impact it has by ensuring companies are held responsible and encouraged to adopt environmentally friendly practices.
