The Greenpeace credit card

Toxics free - the Greenpeace credit card
While the majority of credit cards are made from PVC, Greenpeace's innovative credit card proves that it needn't be this way. The card, offered in association with The Co-operative Bank, is made from PetG, which doesn't contain the toxic chlorine found in PVC. What's more, a whole range of other toxic chemicals are absent from the card's inks.
And it's a great way of raising money for Greenpeace. Greenpeace gains £15 for every account opened and a further 25p for every £100 spent using the card. Since its launch in 1997, the card has raised over £300,000 - vital funds for our campaigning work to stop environmental abuse and promote solutions.
To apply for a card on-line, simply visit The Co-operative Bank website and fill in the secure application form. If you would prefer to apply by telephone, call freephone 0800 002 006.
