Chevron brings out the legal guns to bring down the pod

As Leila explains, Chevron has obtained a court order to end our action on its drilling ship the Stena Carron and bring the pod down. Apologies for the audio, but the wind was picking up some.

Why make it sound like a bad thing they have used legal methods to stop you?! You are breaking the law. The law is the law, whether you like it or not. Use legal methods. If someone broke the law to stop you, you'd squeal like babies

You should have consulted more with the local islanders,we live here 365 days each year. we don't want you here

Please please stop calling Shetland "the Shetlands". It is clear you have never been here before or you would know that, and the high winds and seas would not be such a surprise to you. It is disingenuous to say you care so much about a place you have only just arrived at, and undermines the credibility of your reporting. Please stop harming the Shetland economy by making it difficult for companies to do business here. If the economy takes a downturn, Shetland's biggest threat will be rapid depopulation. Perhaps it is time Greenpeace put people's wellbeing first, rather than chasing the latest easy target. While you are in Shetland take a look around at the great infrastructure we have - great schools, roads, airports, leisure centres. We would not have such a thriving community if it were not for the employment provided by the oil industry.

...or why shall I donate to keep the pod in place for another 5 days if you already announce to come down? And anyway, what kind of strange fundraising strategy is that? What for you exactly want this sum? I m more than happy to donate and especially when I can keep an action going that way but dont make me feel like a fool and provide me (and the others) with some serious informations and not just slogans! I m sure it wont be just me apprecciating this. Cheers

I have noted that Greenpeace are a hypocritical organisation in the way that they burn so much fuel to achieve next to nothing and that they tell us to stop using oil without the slightest hint of how this should be done nor offering alternatives. Yet, when Stena take you to court AND WIN in the name of safety, you call them hypocritical. Lets face it, the anchor is there as a final safety measure, yet your people claim that disabling this measure is 'totally safe' - near everything that you say is total boll***s. I do not imagine that anyone would not prefer to stop using oil and having to drill for more and more every day, but the fact is that without this oil we would be back to 'caveman' living until a suitable alternative is found. I've even bought myself a top of the range magic wand and been waving it for weeks and yet no solution has come up yet. I guess that that the £ and $ being spent to find a suitable and workable alternative are not enough for you? If i pulled a dangerous stunt like you did on the Stena Don, then again on the Stena Carron in a city on someones car, the law would find a good reason to pick me up and put me in jail, it's about time that this country stopped turning a blind eye to your dangerous antics and stopped you from harrassing companies going about their legitimate and legal business. You don't have to like their business, but please accept that it is legal, cantrary to your actions (else why was an injunction granted?). I have never seen a genuine answer to any question that mentions safety on any of your blogs, yet you always claim that your 'stunts/ operations' are totally safe. Please stop endangering the lives of hundreds with your illegal activities.
