Video: Victor, one of our Chevron anchor legends

Watch this great video of Victor, who along with Anais, was the first to scale Chevron’s Stena Carron anchor chain and start the 100 hour occupation of the ship.

Now that we’ve changed tactics and are now stopping the ship with swimmers in front of it, Victor’s in there too, taking his turn as we all rotate spending up to four hours in the water at a time.

Victor’s video is the latest in a series of profiles by Stephen, our Videographer on the Esperanza. The great drawings were made by Jono, one of the deckhands on board. Check out Stephen's previous videos of Sim, Anais and tour of the ship.

Here in your video you keep referring to 'the Shetland's', where is this exactly? I think you mean The Shetland Islands. I find it insulting after losing family in tragic accidents in the North Sea that you would risk lives in such a reckless way after many people in Shetland raise money for RNLI for people in actual danger in the North Sea. I used to find some of your work inspiring, however now I am not a fan. You did nothing but try to create a publicity stunt and I think you have not made many fans in The Shetland Islands. Currently studying Ethics, I find you not to be ethical but more like terrorists that are reckless and do not mind putting people’s lives at risk. P.s. how much fuel did your boat use travelling here? And how much money did you waste trying to find your 15mins of fame.
