Win £5,000 to make our next campaign film

Two weeks to go before we challenge filmmakers to turn the cameras on Volkswagen. We're kicking off with a launch event at 10am, 17 September at the Curzon Soho. If you're in the neighbourhood, drop in, collect your competition briefing and have a chat to us about the campaign and the competition.

Last week we took you to the coal face, with a film about the amazing lengths our activists go to in their efforts to stop climate criminals from wrecking our planet. If you haven't seen A Time Comes, then spend your lunch break watching Ben, Emily and the rest of the Kingsnorth Six going well beyond the call of duty.

This week we've got something a bit lighter. We've all seen those car ads that suggest that you'll be cooler and more attractive if you buy a car called the Warrior (or something equally phallic).

What Does Your Car Say About You? turns those 'aspirational' car adverts on their heads. It's a tongue-in-cheek look at what we're really thinking about people who drive 4x4s in cities.

(And if you thought our film was funny, then you've got to see the one the Australian government made about speeding drivers.)

Don't forget: our VW film competition launches on the 17th September
