We're now closed for entries ... stay tuned, voting opens soon!

After two weeks of frantic film making, the curtain has fallen on the Greenpeace film competition.

I spent a few very pleasant hours yesterday watching all the entries – in many cases, over and over again. I’m amazed by how much hard work has gone into them – and I think you will be too when you see the results.

Making a film is hard work, but to make films of this quality in two weeks? I’m genuinely speechless - which doesn’t happen very often!

So what happens next?

Well, that’s where you come in. We’re going to need your help to decide which of the films should be in the running for the top prize. So on 17 October we’ll be releasing all the films, and asking you to choose your favourites.

The 12 films with the most votes will form the shortlist, from which the judges will pick their ultimate winner. Whoever wins will receive a budget of £5,000 to make a campaign film for us.

So grab that popcorn, sit comfortably and get ready to watch some great films.
