Here in Bath we believe that combatting climate change should be a pleasurable experience and what could be more pleasurable on a sunny Saturday morning stall than cake.  Yes - eat cake, be happy and save the world is what the good people of Larkhall, Bath agreed to this morning.

Since 1999, Bath Greenpeace have raised well over £9700 for the Greenpeace coffers, mostly through local festivals and collecting pots (thanks especially to Harvest).  Today's cakes raised £185.55!  We're hoping that this and some donations from some generous locals will push us over the £10,000 mark.

If you love baking and can rustle up some Melting (icecaps) Moments or some (Save an Orangutan) meringues, why not donate the proceeds to Greenpeace.  If you live in Bath, we'd love your help on out next cake stall; if not, click the Donate button at the top of the page to send your proceeds straight to Greenpeace.

Now if you'll excuse me, it's cake o'clock.
