Belfast group have held a number of really successful Greenpeace stalls at St George's Market. At the latest stall, we upcycled tetra - packs, into delightful little wallets. The stall provided an opportunity for the public to meet activists.
Members of the public are generaly supportive and even if they don't take a wallet for themselves, they often spontaneously contribute into our collection boxes.
Membership of the Belfast group is growing at last! and new members are eagerly sought, as we are hoping to arrange a Street Campaigning Training Day, later this year.
