What we've been up to!

The Belfast Group have been busy lobbying their local MPs as part of the "Big If" and Airplot campaign. They have also been busy trying to get members of the public to join the Airplot. The group is currently concentrating on organising the Grenpeace stall at the Green Living Fair in Castle Espie in September.

The last Greenpeace meeting was held at St George's Market, Belfast. The group members in attendance thought this was a better location to have the meeting than the usual venue, Bookfinders Cafe. Reasons given for this included that it was quite quiet, there where a lot of environmentally friendly people about and no refreshments needed to be purchased at the meeting spot. However, the meeting venue will not be changed until all group members have been contacted for their opinion.
