The Big IF

Current focus of the Climate Change campaign is asking people to make pledges about what they will do should the government continue in their support for new coal power.

People often say that Climate Change is so complicated and such a big problem that anything we do is pretty pointless.

Trying to come up with a monetary value for environmental damage is not only hard but ultimately stupid.  The idea that everything can be simply given a market value is just too simplistic.

A couple of us travelled up to London with friends from Reading Peace Group to join the demonstration outside the Iraq inquiry when Tony Blair gave evidence. Lots of people there and a constant chant of 'Tony Blair - War Criminal' which was hopefully heard inside the conference centre where the inquiry was taking place.
