Are walruses cooler than polar bears?

There is a debate going on inside Greenpeace as to which iconic species best represent the idea of the Arctic. Some are arguing that the Arctic is more than just Polar Bears (although they’re cool), and that the uglier (less white and fluffy) species are just as interesting, and plausibly will inspire people to get more passionate about the idea of saving the Arctic.
