Today was the last in our current series of six slots on radio Ujima and it was the turn of Mark Usher and me (Richard Lancaster) to have a go at explaining Carbon Footprint - why it's important and what we can do as individuals to reduce our own.

I’m not sure how well we achieved that aim - but you can be the judge - just follow this link and listen to the programme yourself (you want 1pm Hour 2 or 2 - we are about 21 minutes in)

Thanks again to Paulette North and Radio Ujima for giving us the opportunity and to Mark who took the lead for us on today's programme and if you do listen I'm sure you will agree that his passion for the subject and his knowledge really come across.

Yesterday’s programme featured lots of the ladies from the group tackling a wide range of subjects including environmental heroes, allotments, sustainable fish and nappies.

Look out for more programmes on Radio Ujima featuring East Bristol Greenpeace members later in the year.

If you would like to calculate your own Carbon footprint then there is a good personal calculator here:-http://www.carbonfootprint.com/calculator.aspx

or there is one specially designed for kids here:- http://www.cooltheworld.com/kidscarboncalculator.php
