What a fantastic day we all had......a Polar Bear, an Arctic fox..volunteers from NINE different local groups - special thanks to Joe and Mark, new Bromley members - and to everyone else who joined us and made it such a happy day! We got a good response from passers-by on foot and in the traffic, lots of hoots and toots gave out stop sHell and Savethearctic leaflets and information. Our police were jolly nice - see the group hug photo - and the Sun shone all day..Many many thanks to our media team, the organisation team and everyone who made it such a good time.
We need to keep the pressure on sHell, who have two licences to drill in the Arctic at different places, and to raise awareness with the public that we are in danger of losing all Arctic ice in the foreseable future.
