VW film nights: We were not able to organise our own in Bromley, however, several other groups need our help:

THIS FRIDAY: 23 March, 2012 - 18:30 - 23:00 

Amersham Arms, 388 New Cross Road, London, United Kingdom, SE14 6TY

We would like to invite you all to our film showing in the Amersham Arms New Cross on the 23rd of March. Doors open 18:30 for a chance to have a drink and chat. Program starts at 19:30 to 23:00. Bar open till 03:00 for general merriment. It will give people a chance to meet their local active supporters in south London.

We’ll show what Greenpeace has been doing for the last 40 years right up to our current VW campaign, demonstrating how anyone can get involved. Including a talk, movies, chit chat and even a (last) chance to have a photograph taken with our very own storm trooper!

Easter Weekend, April 6, 7, 8 at the Forge, Camden, live bands films talks discussions......something to do besides getting sick on chocolate eggs....! Contact me or Sebastian on sseeney@gmail.com if you can help, have a band, want to film, get involved....

Campaign updates:

Save the Arctic:      We have already taken a weekend action against Shell for their planned exploitation of the Arctic....however this is going to be a long term campaign, we’re looking out for new materials and actions coming our way......

CF***P:       Still working on the Common Fisheries Policy....extra campaigning round the country, waiting for news for a national campaign roll out.

BiG SiX energy companies: something’s brewing in the hold......will let you know..

Celebrating 40 years of Making Waves  ‘Green Lunch’ Date Sunday 1st April finalised with the Croft Tea rooms St Mary Cray BR5 4AR. We need to send invitations to the local FOE, Peace Council, Green Party members, friends. Donation £5, meal costs up to you.
