Save the Arctic London+2 Polar Bears

What a great day......You will see from the photo above what a lot of us in London got up to at the weekend. Down on the Southbank, over in West London, in fact, just about anywere we could fit in...volunteers were out to ask the pubic to support Greenpeace aim to keep the Artic from destruction by Oil companies, fishing concerns and of course, to keep the climate stable and prevent extra CO2 from being released by using the fuels they want to get hold of. Since all the Oil in the Arctic will only 'run the world' for three years, are we really going to let this pristine wilderness be destroyed?

So many people texted immediately, and yet more promised to go online and join us...numbers now reaching 105,000 plus on the SavetheArctic.org - up from 87,000 early Saturday morning....We can't take responsibility for all of the new signers, tho I hope a good proportion heard about our campaign in London on Saturday.

We took oour picture right outside the Shell HQ in London....just so they know we are on to them

Many thanks to all those who took part and worked hard and BIG THANKS to all who texted, spoke and listened to us....
