Events and round up

Today Laura, Theo and John hit the streets before the monthly meeting and in 2 hours we got 148 VW sign up cards. Well done everyone.

We need your help with a couple of events that are taking place later this year: The Climate & Fair Trade Market on 12th May and the Smugglers Festival which takes place on 31st August.

The Climate & Fair Trade Market will be our 3rd such event and will include the great Fair Trade Breakfast. We are asking local caterers to help us run a Fair Trade cafe for the day and we will need tea and coffee making facilities such as catering size tea urns and coffee makers, street furniture, tables and chairs. Can you help? If so, please let John know as soon as possible.

We also need volunteers to bake cakes, to serve drinks and food, and generally help out with the cafe, both for the May and the August event. Send John an email please.
