Last week Fracking could do no wrong-Many newspapers were claiming it was the solution to all our energy problems,even claiming that 'windfarms' would be a just a bad memory' Well two earthquakes near Blackpool have been directly linked to Shale Gas Exploration and have shown us how the ever more desperate search for fossil fuel is throwing up ever more serious consquences. Renewables are cheap , have very little effect on the environment and are producing more and more electricity.Surely now we should invest in them properly?
