The Eastbourne Greenpeace group was formed about 23 years ago.  However, Greenpeace has been going for much much longer, since 1971 in fact.

Therefore to celebrate Greenpeace’s 40th anniversary we the Eastbourne Greenpeace group, are having a film film showing of ‘The Greenpeace Story’ it will be at WRVS, 24 Hyde Road, Eastbourne  on 27th January 2012 at 7.30 pm.  Admission is Free, however, it would be advisable to phone me on 01323 723855/07852 903873 or Leslie: 01323 509404 to reserve a place

This film night is an excellent opportunity for people to see what Greenpeace has achieved and for them to socialize with other like minded and people, some who have been involved for years and some very new

I have certainly enjoyed working with Greenpeace, it has given me the chance to stand up and be counted, to bear witness and to try to help make a difference, and preserve the world we live in for future generations.  A quote that I love - not sure where it is from - is "we do not own the earth we have borrowed it from our children and our children's children."

So come along to our film night and be inspired to help make a difference.
