The Camp For Climate Action is nearly upon us and this year they're going after the Royal Bank of Scotland, who invest in companies involved in the tar sands. As Greenpeace is also campaigning against BP, who plan to exploit the tar sands, it's a great chance to mingle with other people as well as getting people signed up against BP and to reveal the truth behind their filthy logo.
Meet at 1pm, at 8th Day cafe for a short stroll to Birley Fields in Hulme. We'll be having a stall throughout the afternoon, with a barbeque and bands playing in the evening. It's a really good opportunity for us and should be a brilliant day out.
