Greetings all!
Come join Greenpeace on our Ice Ride! On Sunday 15th September, over 70 cities all across the World will see hundreds of cyclists simultaneously descend to raise awareness over the rapidly melting Arctic Sea Ice. All this will be done to coincide with Aurora - a double decker sized Polar Bear who will be marching around London on the same day to highlight the likes of Shell, who don't see diminishing ice caps as a threat to the planet, rather as a business oportunity to access even more fossil fuels embedded under the Arctic. We'll start the day at 12 noon outside the Hilton Hotel, and follow a trail of 10 other famous landmarks in the Manchester/Salford areas to capture photos of the bikers passing by.
Come along to display opposition to the rampant fossil fuel industry and demand a clean energy future!
