Last night we had our usual monthly meeting with a fuller than usual agenda. Some of the points are below for your perusal but two matters are worth highlighting.
Astonishingly Greenpeace has been gagged by Cairn Energy. http://www.greenpeace.org.uk/blog/climate/breaking-cairn-injunction-twitter-gagging-20110719
Also I've passed my co-ordinator's hat on to Matt who will be looking after our network from now on. I will miss talking to you and all the rest of the activities but I need some time off to concentrate on some personal matters. I thank you all for your help and support and I hope that next year I'll be able to work with you again. As always being a co-ordinator of our network involves a lot of work and I would ask that, if you're not actively involved yet, you consider donating a little of your time to help Matt out with his chores. The more the merrier, many hands make the work light and all that .... We and the rest of the world need you if you care about it's future.
Remember: If you think you're too small to make a difference try and sleep in a room with a mosquito
