Brilliant day with pointers and practice for lobbying your MP run by Jane Burd and Richard Martin on 16 Oct. Brian Norris, a longstanding Greenpeace activist gave us his experiences on lobbying. Paddy Tipping, an experienced MP, who has recently stood down from active politics, joined us for the afternoon and gave us his observations on lobbying and useful tips. Both insights were invaluable. The 10 or so of us who attended the day are now well prepared to make the most of future meetings/correspondence with our MPs. Thanks to Jane, Richard, Brian and Paddy.
