Visit your local Shell garage

You will have read that local activists visited Shell garages at the back end of last month to highlight to motorists and the garage staff that Shell wants to drill in the Arctic.  I'm hoping that some of you will want to take part in this campaign yourselves.  We are asking you to download a letter from the Greenpeace website, print it off and take it to your local Shell garage and hand it to the manager.  Simple as that.  Once you have done that you need to go back to the Greenpeace website and fill in the relevant details: your contact details and the name of the garage you visited and the name of the manager.  You can of course visit all the Shell stations in Nottingham (all 2 of them!) and hand a letter at each one.  If you have need of going to Leicestershire you will find there are a lot more Shell garages.  I hope you will be able to take part in this campaign and get the message to Shell that they should not be drilling for oil in the Arctic.
