Heading for a new and dangerous “era of nuclear weapons”?

Worrying article on the Guardian website highlighting a report published for the British American Security Information Council. Seems the whole world needs deadlier weapons because they might be vulnerable to attack by their neighbours who are developing…. deadlier weapons.  Now that’s the sort of logic that really worries me.
