Well, Liz promised us that, despite the weather forecast, it would be fine for the Egg Rolling event on Easter Monday. Hmmmm, ok Liz, if you say so.
Despite her assertations, it poured down most of the day, but we were not deterred. Hand knitted gloves and phone covers, cookies, badges, cornflake cakes and plants were all on sale - the fruits of much loving work by our brilliant team. We sold steadily, but obviously the rain didn't help matters. Face-painting went quite well too despite the weather, children just love it, don't they?
Many thanks to all who made things to sell and helped on the stall. We were cold, wet but [mostly] cheerful - it'd better be sunny next year though!
