Christmas is knocking on the door, and what better opportunity to look back at the year with season greetings. What a tremendous year it's been and it has also my first year as a Greenpeace activist. Getting John West to change to sustainable Tuna fishing, Mattel to change their forestry policy and more recently launching a partnership with Facebook and them agreeing to switch to the renewable energy is just some of this years victories. Ongoing campaigns like VW CFP will ondoubtly play a big role in next years campaigns and you're all playing a big part in this and I promise that there is exciting things in the pipeline, so instead of going into a month of post Christmas depression why not start with a bang in the new year and come to our next meeting: http://www.greenpeace.org.uk/groups/south-west-london-brixton/event/janu... We have seen a lot of new members recently joining this group which is brilliant, we would love to see some of all the new faces. Any questions do not hesitate to conact me: anderslorenzen@hotmail.com
I kind of imagined when I would sit down and write this blog, it would be with snow drops settling outside now with this unseasonal warm weather, when I left London yesterday if I didn't know it was Christmas I could easily be forgotten to think it was eraly spring! Therefore combined with the failure of Durban your support is more crucial than ever, we have a whole list of challenges awaiting us next year...
Here is video to look back at when the amaizing new Rainbow Warrior III came to London: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZngMzUgLRqE&feature=youtu.be
Merry Christmas all,
