Greenpeace Mediterranean is inviting all of us to show support for the 58 activists who are facing 3 years’ in prison for protesting in front of the Turkish parliament in Ankara during the approval of the nuclear agreement with Russia. They will be in court in October 28th, so time is short..
They have created this website where you can support our activists by adding your photo and "becoming" one of them.
You can help by uploading your picture on the website. The site is in Turkish, but the English instructions are below (it’s actually very quick and easy):
1. Click "beni de ekle"
2. Choose from the picture-source options below for your photo:
a. “bilgisayarımdan resim yukle” = upload from my computer
b. “facebook resmimi kullan” = use my facebook picture
c. “webcamimle resmimi cek” = take my photo with webcam
3. “cinsiyet” means gender; kadın = female, erkek = male
4. “küçült” = shrink, “büyüt” = enlarge
5. “karanlık” = darker, “aydınlık” = lighter
6. When your picture is OK, press “ileri”
7. Then:
“ad soyad” = name surname
“E-posta” = e-mail
“cep telefonu” = mobile number (not required)
“mesajım” = my message
8. “ileri” again and your photo will appear on the mobile photo stream.
You can then share it on Facebook or Twitter if you like, and can click "eylemcilerle tanış" to see the pictures of the activists. Feel free to spread the word!
