Today was World Oceans Day, and so the Southampton Greenpeace group took the 'Be a Fisherman's Friend' campaign to the Southampton Eco-Fair. While grown-ups signed fish-cards calling for reform of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) or texted (FRIEND plus your email to 66777), some of our younger ocean defenders got down to the serious business of colouring in.
While you're here, please do send a 'Sea Shanty' petition to the Fisheries Minister Richard Beynon. You can also support the campaign on facebook - please feel free to share it widely and if you'd like to be out and about wearing a large fish costume, encouraging the great art of colouring-in or of course asking more grown-ups to sign our fish cards, why not get in touch with your local Greenpeace group...
