Greenbeats Shindig

All-day 'greenbeats' event (details here for facebookers), an informal gathering of local activists and anyone who fancies coming along to chat, find out more, muse on getting involved etc. Anyone really! There will be lots of local groups represented (us included) but no stalls - it'll be more creative than that (cue limbo-dancing polar bears) and DJs will be doing their thang too. £2 before 7pm, £4 after - all proceeds going to the Yasuni Initiative to help fight against the exploitation of fossil fuels in a highly biodiverse and culturally sensitive developing country. Come along in the afternoon to meet local group reps like me, have a natter etc - in the evening it turns into club/dubland!
