Volkswagen is the largest car company in the EU, and a major influence on the German government. VW markets its cars as being more efficient than its competitors and is a leading member of the industry pressure group ACEA (European Automobile Manufacturers Association) which actively opposes tighter car efficiency targets.
Volkswagen has the influence and the technology to improve car efficiency, and to help stop climate changes. We need your help to persuade them to turn away from the dark side.
Greenpeace supporters across the UK are organising Greenpeace VW film and campaign festival events, showcasing the shortlisted entrants from our recent film competition, including our own entry, as well as a selection of other Greenpeace films. We would very much like to invite you to come join us.
