Shell Day 2: If at first you do succeed…

… then do it again.

In July this year, over 500 people from all over the UK gave up a small part of a Saturday afternoon to protest against Shell’s scandalous plans to drill in the Arctic.

A significant number of those who took part were not regular activists or local Greenpeace volunteers; just ordinary people who were outraged and wanted to voice their objections in person.

So successful was this mission that we are going for a repeat performance on Saturday 22 September.

Shell Day 2 will have a different flavour as all protesters in a particular region will be descending on the same target.

The Mighty North London Massive of Awesomey Coolness (not our official title... yet) will be visiting the Shell on Whitechapel Road.

We are meeting at 12 noon at Whitechapel Tube Station before heading to the garage.

We will be there until around 3pm. Everyone is welcome, even if you can only manage an hour or so.
