21 July, 2012 - 12:00 - 15:00

Shell is about to start drilling for oil in the Arctic. They plan to take advantage of the melting ice, and their ‘drilling window’ has just opened. To stop them Greenpeace has taken action at sea, in the courts, in parliament and at petrol stations across the UK. Now we need your help.

Greenpeace volunteers and active supporters all across the world are organising peaceful, legal protests at Shell petrol stations. We’d very much like you to join us on for our local protest.

  • Meet at 12noon at the Shell petrol station, 443-445 Wick Lane, London E3 2TB

  • Protest from 12noon till at least 1pm - where we will move on to protest at Shell in Clapton (E5 9JZ) until 3pm
  • At 4pm head to either the park, or a central London pub (tbd), with fellow protestors from across London.
  • Contact: Dave O'Carroll

*If you can only spare 1-2 hours that’s fine. You being there and taking part will make a difference.

They’ll be more information on the day. A mix of new and old people, and a campaign briefing before we start. Afterwards we'll probably head to the pub, or the beach - depending on the weather.

Please come, bring friends and family, and help us #tellshell to ditch their Arctic drilling plans.
