The UK government currently plans to spend £97bn (NINETY SEVEN BILLION POUNDS) replacing the Trident nuclear weapons system. This, at a time, when when politicians are tripping over themselves to tell us how they plan to cut the national deficit without cutting essential public services.

Lib Dem candidate agrees to meet with Waltham Forest Greenpeace

Mr Farid Ahmed, the local Liberal Democrat candidate has already agreed to meet with the Waltham Forest Greenpeace group to discuss the results of our Trident street poll,  which takes place on Saturday 27 March.
