Tree of Thoughts from tree planting event sent to Mr Miliband

This week, following the lack of commitment to a binding deal from governments in Coppenhagen, we thought we'd send our own secretary for climate change and energy Mr Miliband a new years gift to remind him that we will continue to stand for a sustainable climate future.

Last year at the apple tree planting event in West London where local PPC's and groups joined us in solidarity against the expansion of Heathrow airport (see airplot campaign for more information) people were invited to write a short note about their thoughts on the issue on apple shaped cards. We stuck all these cards onto a apple tree poster with the slogan "GROW APPLES NOT AIRPORTS!"

So we have decided to send this to Mr Miliband so that he can read thoughts from our local PPCs, other local groups and of course, ourselves anout the expasion of Heathrow.

Lets hope he gets the message!
