Started in New York 2004, bicycle and pedestrian advocacy group Transportation Alternatives (T.A.), asked filmmaker & bikeTV producer, Clarence Eckerson Jr., to produce a short film “The Case for a Car-free Central Park.” They now make films all over the world about transportation and associated issues: 'Documenting Livable Cities Worldwide'. Check out the film on Ciclovia Day in Bogota, Columbia, for a great model of how a large city can encourage alternative transport, health & fitness and improved quality of life in an urban setting.
