Green Arch and Greenpeace 40th Birthday

Greenpeace turned 40 this month. 40 years since a group of friends bought a boat and decided to take action, to make a stand and launched our principles.

Direct Action. Personal Accountability. Global Impact.

 Independent and Free from Influence.

Solutions-focused, not problem-centered.

Maybe they didn’t know what they were starting when they set out, but they knew what they hoped to achieve. Maybe they didn’t understand they were starting a legacy, but they knew what they wanted for the future. Maybe, just maybe, they didn’t believe it would last this long, but its' only just started.

I joined Greenpeace because they were doing something, I stayed because I was doing something, I'm in for the long run, because that something counts.

You can count too. Don't just sit there and read. Think, stand and take action. Get involved with Worcestershire Greenpeace.
