Worcester flocks to join the Rebellion against VW and their Dark Tactics
Hundreds of people came to register their protest at VW and their shadowy ways on Saturday, 26th November. Worcester Greenpeace members were joined by a renegade Stromtrooper who had simply had enough of being associated with such evil, self-centered, short-sighted measures.
VW are undermining EU Legislation around stronger emissions targets for the car industry, but keep knowledge of their actions behind the doors and corridors in Brussels. This legislation would create a force for good within the industry, leading to reduced carbon emissions and better fuel efficiency for us all. Transport is one of the biggest CO2 emission sectors and so setting these targets is vital for sustained long term CO2 reductions..
